Tui Naviti Passes On as Ba Province Gathers for Funeral

The province of Ba is gathering to conduct the traditional funeral rites of the Tui Naviti in Yasawa.

Ba Provincial Council Chairman, Ratu Meli Saukuru said that Ratu Viliame Ratudradra died last week after a short illness at the age of 82.

Ratu Ratudradra is expected to be buried tomorrow at the chiefly burial ground at Soso, in Naviti.

He is survived by his wife, Tarusila Ratudradra and six children.
